Macquarie University Health is seeking a General Practitioner to join our new Macquarie University Doctors student bulk-billing clinic on campus. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new service delivering convenient, affordable and high-quality general practice care to Macquarie University's diverse student community.
We are recruiting for 1.0 FTE, this could be filled by one full-time GP or two part-time GPs, offering flexibility to suit your circumstances. The position is permanent, with the option to join Macquarie University Health as an employee, providing access to various leave entitlements and employee benefits.
Working within an innovative academic health sciences centre, you will not only provide excellent clinical care, but also have the opportunity to supervise and train medical students, GP Registrars and other Doctors in Training. You will collaborate with colleagues across Macquarie University Health to contribute to primary care research and educational activities, playing an integral role in advancing the academic mission of the organisation.
About the Role
Based within the Macquarie University Doctors clinic on our Wallumattagal Campus, you will provide bulk-billed general practice services to eligible Macquarie University students. The clinic delivers a broad scope of primary care services including general health consultations, mental health support, chronic condition management, sexual health and contraception, preventative care, vaccinations, minor injuries and infections, skin conditions, and allergies and asthma management.
